One of the main motivations when it comes to creating music, Mariano Peccinetti says, its to make those moments of life, crucials for memory and to construct ourselves, to last and be evoked with sounds. But when you hit play to “ La Tristeza Se Destruye”, a little treasure box for songs –as souvenirs of good times-, it seems like all those recently taken photographs, still shining with color, were leaved under the sun to be disolved. Trasvorder runs in an openly pop way, he knows how to grab those catchy cyclic melodic flashes, wisely jumping over the shameless repetition to be perpetuated gently in our memory. If I had to reference his sound to a name, it will be, no doubt, Sean Lennon the one to cut up, only because they have the same sentimental ambition, the one you can feel in the transparent and melancholic pop they love to create. Once La Tristeza Se Destruye starts, there's no other way: you'll have to face the noon ride in the middle of woods wrestling between the rests of the drought and the start of a rainy summer. It will be impossible to avoid the pain of nostalgia without feeling warm and safe. All, made up subtlety on guitarrs, tons of detail and little recordings, keyboards and loops, in a chromatic scale from sepia to purple. Pop, just pop and memories. (Review By Claudia Sandoval)
Una de las principales motivaciones al momento de crear música, argumenta Mariano Peccinetti, es hacer que esos momentos de la vida, indispensables para la memoria, indispensables para construirnos, perduren y se evoquen con sonidos. Pero al momento de dar play a “ La Tristeza Se Destruye”; un pequeño cofre sonoro que encierra en canciones souvenirs de los buenos tiempos, pareciera que aquellas fotografías recién tomadas, aun brillantes en color, fueran dejadas al sol para deslavarse y desaparecer.Trasvorder circula en un tono abiertamente pop, ese que sabe aprovechar aquellos destellos melódicos pegajosos y cíclicos, librando con astucia el descaro de la repetición para más bien perpetuarse en la memoria con sutileza. Si se me obligara a referenciar su sonido a un nombre, sería sin duda Sean Lennon el depositario de tal homologación, sólo por la misma ambición sentimental que se percibe en el pop transparente y melancólico que tanto les encanta crear. Una vez que La Tristeza Se Destruye se ha dejado correr, no habrá de otra que enfrentar el paseo a medio día entre un bosque que se debate entre los restos de la sequía y el arranque del verano. Será imposible esquivar el resquemor de la nostalgia sin dejar de sentir tibieza y seguridad. Todo, impreso con sutileza en la guitarra; un montón de detalles y pequeñas grabaciones, teclados y secuencias en una escala de colores que van del sepia al púrpura. Pop, simplemente pop y recuerdos.
