The Procedure Club
New Heaven , Connecticut. USA.
The Procedure Club is a duo. Adam and Andrea. They both live in New Haven CT and have been recording together since the late December of 2007 while cold and bored during the long New England winter nights. They both have been friends for many years and they both shared passion for similar kinds of music. Mainly experimental, shoegazy, twee poppy kind of stuff, such as The Black Tambourine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Bartlebees, My Bloody Valentine, His Name is Alive, Shop Assistants as well as some recent tape adventures of Ariel Pink, John Maus and the list goes on...Adam Malec has been active in the New Haven music scene since 1997 and has formed an interesting indie rock band called Groovski. In the mean time, he has experimented with home recordings as well as some sporadic live noise shows with Coup De Grace, Electro-Idiot and Human Pontiac. After Groovski has wrapped up it's activities in 2007, Adam has devoted all of his efforts to making music with Andrea Belair. Her innocent, soft and all out beautiful singing voice, as well as the sarcastic and abstract sense of humor, coupled with the fact that she is a total weirdo, was enough to form The Procedure Club. The name "procedure club" was actually stolen by Andrea from her college friend. The name theft was eventually forgiven, provided that Andrea and Adam would reveal the author's name, who happens to be Crystal Ward, a true comedic genius! A true queen of vagueness. The Procedure Club hopes that some day the world will hear about Crystal and her ways.
The Procedure Club es un dúo. Adam y Andrea. Ambos viven en New Heaven CT y han grabado juntos desde finales de diciembre del 2007, en las largas noches invernales de New England, que los mantenían fríos y aburridos.
