Outmen is two childhood friends from the small suburb Lindome, located about 20km from the city of Gothenburg . Pär and Carl met for the first time when Pär's older brother Johan, threw a snowball in Carl's face from quite a long distance.They really met several years later, at a party by the lake. The party was hosted by the local canoe-team. Pär and Carl ended up talking about american lo-fi heroes and great country legends for the entire evening. Outmen was founded just a few days after the canoeparty, in the basement of Pär's parents' house. Outmen has been playing in every genre there is.They often experiment with different styles and ideas. Everything from twentyminutes postrocksongs to experimental hiphop. Outmen is today, ten years after the canoe-party, a result of all this.
Outmen son dos amigos de la infancia avecinados en Lindome, un pequeño suburbio ubicado a unos 20 kilómetros de la ciudad de Gotemburgo. Pär y Carl tuvieron su primer encuentro cuando Johan, el hermano mayor de Pär, aventó una bola de nieve directo al rostro de Carl, desde una distancia bastante considerable.Varios años después fue cuando se conocieron bien, en una fiesta del equipo local de canotaje, junto al lago. Pär y Carl terminaron hablando la noche entera sobre sus héroes lo-fi americanos y grandes leyendas del country. Outmen fue fundado tan sólo unos días después de aquella fiesta, en el sótano en casa de los padres de Pär.Outmen ha tocado todos los géneros musicales que hay. Continuamente experimentan con diferentes estilos e ideas. Todo, desde canciones post rock de veinte minutos hasta hip-hop experimental. Diez años después de esa fiesta, Outmen es hoy el resultado de todo esto.
